Task Management

Tasks #

Teams use tasks to track individual pieces of work that must be completed. Depending on however is convinient to your team, a task could represent a project task, a helpdesk ticket, a leave request form.

For each task you can see information about the Name, the Labels, the People assigned for that task, the Progress of the tasks, the Status and the Actions regarding the tasks. You can always edit, close or reopen** the closed tasks.

For each individual Task you can edit all of its information, add the description body and comments.

Create Task #

When a new task is needed to be created you can do it by clicking on the CREATE BUTTON button on the right-hand side of the Tasks Board.

Add Title, Due Date, Body, Labels, Assignees, the Points Estimated, the Points Burned. You can also indicate if the task is Blocked by another tasks.

The points represent the required time in order to complete the task.

Epics #

An epic is a large body of work that can be broken down into a number of smaller tasks. Epics often encompass multiple tasks and should be time bounded.

Create Epic #

You can create an Epic for your Tasks by adding the Title, Start Date and End Date. You can also add all the Tasks related to that Epic.

In case you want to edit the Epic's information or add new Tasks related to that Epic, you can click on the edit button. Once the Epic is completed you can use the close button to close it.

The open Epics can be also seen in the Planner.

Download #

You can download all the tasks in your Project in xlsx format by clicking the Download button on the left-hand side above the Task's Board.
